My Journey
Before I became a therapist, I built an entire career around helping people feel stronger in their bodies.
I worked in the health and fitness field as a massage therapist, strength and conditioning coach, health coach, and Iyengar yoga instructor. For years, I guided people to tune into their physical sensations, breathe more deeply, build resilience, and discover what it meant to feel at home within themselves.
But even as I was teaching others how to listen to their bodies,
I was slowly beginning my own journey of learning how to listen to my emotions.
On the outside, I was the strong, steady one. I was capable, composed, the person others came to for support. But under that strength lived anxiety, self-doubt, and patterns of self-protection that I didn’t yet know how to meet. There came a moment when life asked me to stop moving so quickly (panic attacks), and I finally had to turn inward.
It was time for me to do my work.
I found myself face-to-face with emotions and sensations I had spent years avoiding. The tightness in my chest, the worry in my mind, the ache of longing I tried to outrun. I had two choices: keep living from old patterns or learn how to sit with what was real and lean into the discomfort.
I chose to feel and lean in.
Not because it was comfortable, but because something in me knew it was the only path toward the life I truly wanted. As I slowed down and began listening, I discovered what my body had been trying to teach me all along:
Discomfort wasn’t a threat. It was an invitation.
The emotions I once resisted became openings into deeper self-understanding. The sensations I judged became signals guiding me toward clarity and truth. The parts of me I tried to silence became sources of wisdom. This transformation shifted not only my personal life but also my professional path.
I realized that healing doesn’t happen only through physical strength; it happens through emotional presence, relational safety, and the courage to face what we’ve been avoiding.
So I stepped into my second career, therapy, with a foundation unlike any other. My background in the body, movement, breath, and nervous system regulation naturally evolved into trauma-informed emotional and relational healing.
Today, I integrate IFS, EMDR, Psychedelics Integration, Brainspotting, Somatic Work, and my years of mind–body training to help individuals who feel stuck in anxiety, disconnected from themselves, or trapped in old relationship patterns.
Together, we slow down. We get curious.
We learn to sit with discomfort not as something to fear, but as a doorway to becoming who you were always meant to be. Because healing isn’t just about symptom relief. It’s about self-trust, emotional freedom, and creating a life that feels aligned with your deepest values. It’s about stepping into a new season of your life with clarity, confidence, and a grounded sense of who you truly are.
My journey taught me that emotional discomfort is not a sign to retreat. It’s a sign that growth is happening.
And if you’re ready, I’m here to walk beside you as you transition into the life you desire.
